This has always functioned properly up unitl 2.68. 2.68.5 does not function properly either, although everything is fine with Windows builds.

Changed keyboard shortcuts are not maintained upon program restart. I also noticed that there is an intermittent problem with various settings changes in the 'user preferences' panel but this sometimes happens but usually does not. I have just discovered that the 'save user settings' in the 'user preferences' pane will save the keyboard shortcut changes but I prefer to hit the save button a half a dozen times to be sure that it registers because, as I said, this button is not always working either.

n/a, it appears to be a problem with Blender not saving the modified start-up file.
