When I open a blender default scene and try to create a node using (SHIFT + A) blender will crash.
I checked it in older versions with a Different systems with different os.

And I’ll ask it again: Do you have the issue with factory settings? With all kind of node editor, or only with compositing?
This bug has very likely something to see with your system, or some addon installed, etc. At least I cannot reproduce it here (debian testing amd64).
Try Factory Startup settings. It's very much likely some addon or so screws your setup up. Also, does Shift-A in a viewport crashes for you?
Since there was no reply to Bastien's request for more details within a week closing the report. I'm happy to re-open it when more info is provided.
