Short description of error

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps
Using Blender 2.69 (last build waiting for the newest 2.70), when I'm using a ground plane with tiles, in "object mode > materials" the size (of tiles) is quite different that from "object mode > rendered"

OS, CPU, GPU ? Exact version you're using ? Cycles or BI ?
A blenfile or a screenshot would be also good.

Are you using a mapping node in cycles? currently the cycles material view in the view-port does not respect the mapping node.

OS Maverick, CPU i3 (2 cores),
I can't use GPU with this equippement.

Well, then, as @Warren Bahler (russcript) said, this is not supported currently… not a bug, rather a known limitation.
