Save as/Save copy loses textures from linked assets

Short description of error

Scene file with multiple linked rigs/assets, when Saved-as or Save copy'd to parent directory (or elsewhere I presume) all texture images from linked assets are missing. Tried with remap relative on and off.

Hard to supply a .blend. Sorry. Let me know if there is a way you want me to do this.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Examples of my file structure relative to original .blend:

../../models/characters/boy
../../models/scenic/tree etc.

And all linked asset's textures are in subfolders, mapped relatively within their files like:

//textures/hair.png etc.

I don't want to have to use absolute file mapping with my assets, as that will break other workflow scenarios for me.

Apologies in advance if this is my error somehow.

Ah sorry, I just realised I hadn't reloaded the 'Save copy'. That looks like it works as expected. *embarrassed*
