Please do test with the very fresh blender sources. i've addressed this issue a while ago already and seems your patch is against the sources before my changes. Check on https://developer.blender.org/diffusion/B/browse/master/extern/carve/include/carve/mesh_ops.hpp;4ed16bc3e69dcdbc9e4e2cd522f380274dd939f7$583 and you'll see the difference.

Also we never accept compilation error reports in the BUG tracker. So thanks for the report, hopefully latest sources will work for you. Closing it now.
