Rigging with ALT B Doesnt let you select
Closed, ArchivedPublic

Description

System Information
Windows 8.1
Intel HD Graphics 4000
Lenovo P400 Touch Laptop
8gb RAM
Intel i7 (8 Core) CPU

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.71 Release Candidate a19c1be
Worked:

while setting up a rig to a mesh, Hit ALT + B to isolate a section of the viewport. It then wouldnt let me select any bones.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Shift + A > Add Bone > Tab to Edit mode > ALT + B to isolate a selection > Attempt to select a bone.
I dont think a blend file would be necessary for this. Could it have been because I had X-Mirror activated on the rig?

I would rather bet this is another Intel GPU/OGL issue. Please place [this dll](ftp://ftp.blender.org/sergey/softwaregl/win64/opengl32.dll) in same directory as blender.exe, run Blender, and see whether issue is fixed.

If it is, it’s yet another bug of Intel drivers, you may try to update them but…

If it is not, then it might something else (but it’s working OK for me here (linux64 with gfx850m).
