Motion Blur renders Objects Black - But not in Viewport Preview
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

System Information
Windows 7, GeForce560Ti

Blender Version
Broken:
2.71 two objects render as black, but not in Viewport preview.

Worked: (optional)
2.70 r2
The same two objects render as Black, but only if I turn on Motion Blur

Short description of error
There are some strange dots in my scene, one is green and belongs to the grasshopper's body and 3 to the armature. You can select the entire object if you click on the dot, but you cannot select the dot in edit/pose mode. There are no Groups in my scene.
I tried:
Flipping the normals.
There are no double Verts.
In 2.70, if I apply the Armature Modifier, it renders fine, but no motion. In 2.71 the problem persists.
If I set the shading to flat, it renders fine in all versions.

The Blend file may be corrupted, but I don't know how, I did not download it, all was created on my computer, but I started in Blender 2.63.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Press F12 (for comparison turn on Viewport Rendering)

Event Timeline

Motion blur is being disabled in viewport, afair. That's because it triggers scene frame update. It might be the same as T41116. need to check further. Will do it a bit later.

I just added the Viewport remark, because in 2.71 it renders black regardless of MB or not, viewport is fine.
