Short description of error
Clipping border/object mode: deterioration of mesh representation on zoom in 3d view.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
How to see: Add monkey, clip border monkey nose (altb), zoom in with wheel. Does not happen in edit mode. And does not happen in object mode without clipping. Not a big deal but it's there.

Cannot see anything here (linux64), most likely yet another "GPU" issue (please always attach a screenshot in that kind of reports).

You can try to:

  • Put this dll next to your blender.exe (software OGL, will makes things slow, but should solve any drawing issue).
  • Tweak your OGL settings in UserPreferences, System tab (check e.g. VBOs).

Turning off vbos in user preferences system resolved the issue

Thanks for the head up. Unfortunately, some drivers do not support well VBOs - this is an old known issue we can’t really do anything about… And Intel drivers are not renown for their quality either.
