"Render Animation" motion blur takes a ridiculously long time

Problem
I discovered this while trying to find a workaround of problem reported in T42319.

When using the "Render Animation" function with motion blur enabled, some frames render fine, but some frames take a ridiculously long time.
In the attached file, when trying to render animation with "Motion Blur" enabled (even at 0), frame #2 especially seem susceptible to this, though it happened with frame #0 at another point of testing.

This doesn't happen when rendering out single frames.

I assume you are using Cycles? And does it still happens with the workaround proposed for T42319?

Yes, Cycles, probably should've specified that, haha.

And, like T42319, the workaround solved this problem, too. This solves a lot of headache, so, again, thank you, and keep up the great work!
