Broken: 2.72B Hash: 9e963ae (This is the version I downloaded today, but the problem pre-dates this build)
Worked: 2.69
The "Shape" option in the "Geometer" window does not seem to be working in the latest versions.

Activate the Sapling addon in user preferences, "Shift-A" and Select Add Curve, Select "Add Tree",

In the Geometry window the default shape is "Tend Flame (7)". In the latest version of Blender, changing this option seems to not be working. Both my home and work computers have the same issue. At home I was able to copy Addon "add_curve_sapling" folder from a earlier version of Blender (I believe I used version 2.69, or 2.68), and pasted it into the appropriate spot in the 2.72 folder, and it started working.

Originally I thought it might have just been a issue with my home computer, but when I downloaded Blender onto my work computer, and it had them same issue, I thought I should file a bug report.

Thanks for the report, but this issue has been fixed some weeks ago now. Please always test with latest builds from our buildbot before making a report.
