Short description of error
when you set the proxies you should not have to click ok to save the settings. they should save when you click outside the field also. this would improve the speed at which artest work
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
open vse
add image
set proxies
set a value
click outside the box

Hi, this is not a bug. The operator sets the proxies to all selected strips, so it's not possible to get a value in the field from all of them.

The tickboxes refer to properties of the operator, not of the current strip.

not completely understanding why. what I was suggesting is that when a user clicks outside of the window it saves the setting just like hitting the ok button

Nope. such popups should have a consistent behaviour. Imagine if Ctrl-Q or ctrl-W would do what they did even if you moved the mouse away. Moving away is cancel, always.
