When importing mp4 video files into VSE (Drag into vse timestrip), the audio and track is out of sync. (it seems like the video track is not imported with the correct framerate)

That video is a 60fps one, just set Blender scene's FPS to that and everything is OK.
So how can i mix together a 30fps video and a 60fps video to make a 30 fps video?
I don't want the scene fps to be 60 fps. I just want to bring on a 60 fps source. This is no problem in other video editors like Vegas or final cut. The source is a source and the output is an output.
Or is this another place where blender is choosing to be force users to be data editors instead of users?
This is currently not possible, unless you use 'hacks' like the speed effect strip (but this is not really handy), you have to convert your videos which are not at the scene's FPS outside of Blender.
Currently, Blender does not have any automatic 'time remapping' to keep the real length of its videos, it’s on our TODO list.
