The cycles baking documentation from http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Render/Cycles/Bake is not present in the new manual.
Not sure if this can be imported from the old wiki (if the old wiki still exists)?

You can still access the old wiki with this slightly modified URL:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php?title=Doc:2.6/Manual/Render/Cycles/Bake
You can find a copy of the old page here http://web.archive.org/web/20150323032642/http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Render/Cycles/Bake
At the beginning of the page it mentions: "Refer to Blender main Render page for general baking guidelines: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Render/Bake"
What does @Greg Zaal (gregzaal) think about moving that page back?
It already lives in the manual at http://blender.org/manual/render/workflows/bake.html, unless you mean moving it back up to the /manual/render/ section?
I think the bake section is fine where it is.
I'm not sure if I understand correctly though: you want to bring back the specific part from the Cycles pages? Or the issue is solved already?
As I understand it, this page ( see D1335) from the cycles docs was missed in the initial import to the manual (perhaps added to the wiki afterwards).
It looks up to date and well written, and a useful addition to the existing bake documentation IMO.
