Mac Pro OSX 10.10.3
Dual AMD FirePro D700 6144 MB

Blender: 2.76

I dont know if this is a bug of a miss feature, but I do a lot of motiongraphics on Blender and this is realy annoying.
I cant figure a way to arrenge the layers, usualy I do a lot of offset animation and the order of layers is very important.

Does not seem possible to move the object (datablocks) 'strips' themselves… @Joshua Leung (aligorith) this still sounds more like a feature request than a bug to me?

Yep, it's more of a feature request. IIRC, @Julian Eisel (Severin) was working on a patch a few months back - I'd be interested in seeing how he handled that and/or whether it avoids some of the worst pitfalls there.

This would be super useful - especially for motion graphics work. It's very hard and frustrating to work without this.
