Storing view coodinates for individual tree types
Closed, ArchivedPublicDESIGN

Description

When switching among different node tree types, we often need to re-locate to the last view location where we want to continue working. However, this is not very effective especially when having to switch frequently. IMHO, it would be convenient to provide an option to remember where we are located in different node tree types.

Ineffective experience with shared view coordinate (current behavior):

P.S.: I know we could simply split it into two or three or more areas, but supposing sometimes we really don't have enough screen space, so...

FYI. :)

I think this could be a good feature to add, but we do not handle feature requests in this tracker. Design tasks are for developers to create when they want to work on something, there's just not enough resources to handle feature requests from users this way.

I see, thanks for reminding.
