Short description of error

There is a short cut conflict in the Python Console. In the other editors Ctrl-left Arrow/Right arrow switches work spaces.
However, in the Python Console it is used to move to the beginning / end of each word.

This is indeed annoying when common editor key bindings conflict with windowing shortcuts.

However this ticket is only useful to keep open if we can pick some alternative keys and close... otherwise this can be made a TODO for the new keymap.

Bastien Montagne (mont29) lowered the priority of this task from 90 to 50.Feb 5 2016, 11:58 AM

Will archive as TODO for now, this may be annoying but is not a bug in itself - ctrl arrowkeys is 'universal' way to do word-based navigation/selection in text editors (not only py console in Blender, but text editor too, btw). And not sure those are the only case where some 'local' shortcuts override some 'global' ones, so this is more a global design topic, to know whether we accept or forbid those overridings?
