Short description of error
The Particle UV in the Explode Modifier doesn't seem to work anymore

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Set to Blender Render engine
Create a new Icosphere with subdivision: 4
Go to Object> Quick Effects> Quick Explode
A Particle System, Explode Modifier, 'Explode Fade' UV map, and 'Explode Fade' Material are created
The exploded pieces are supposed to fade over time by changing the Particle UV in the Explode Modifier (set as 'Explode Fade')
But for some reason the Particle UV isn't being changed

It still seems to work in older versions, so I'm guessing something has changed.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the report, can confirm the bug in official 2.76b release, but no more with current master, so assuming it has been fixed already. :)

I've just downloaded it, and it works great!
