Dump Screen Problems with Ati graphic card and dual monitor
Closed, ArchivedPublicKNOWN ISSUE

Description

WinXP SP2, Ati9700pro, Dual Monitor, Blender 2.42

I reported some problems with the interface and dual monitor using Ati graphic cards:
https://projects.blender.org/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3563&group_id=9&atid=231

Now i figured out another problems using "Dump Screen" and "Dump Subwindow":
- Menu artifacts on the screen dump when using the menu File->Dump Screen instead of shortcut (see attached pic dump_screen_artifacts.png)
- wrong Subwindow dumps on both monitors (see attached pic dump_subwindow.png)

I attached a complete, correct layout of may Blender window too.

I cannot help this really... we depend on a proper implementation of opengl, and ATI for windows seems to be not much interested in pixel operations for UIs. Be assured that this is not a bug in Blender.

Thanx. I submitted an trouble ticket to Ati and linking to some bug repports about Ati cards here. Hoping they investigate some time for better OpenGL support.

This is a generic request to test your bug report and see if it is still an issue in 2.5alpha2 if so please let me know by making a comment in this report ie 'also in 2.5alpha2' and I will add it to the 2.5 bug list.
