with my .blend file ,if you press M, than others layer number( but layer 2), the blender will be close

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

1. open untitled.blend file;
2. it's has select all object, you just press M and layer number,(e.g. M 3,except M 2 ), Blender will be crash;

Actually, when you click others layer on the 3d view header, whatever select or not, it's crash too.

the .blend file was created when I used amination-joiner addon, it's have one step "move to the next layer "
, and blender 2.77 crashed when working with move layer, but even no this addon, it's crash too, 2.76 work fine.
