Could you check whether your texture is missing? Blender displays missing textures as pink, so it's likely not a bug.

If you believe it is a bug nonetheless, it would be useful (essential even) to provide additional information - how to reproduce the bug, what are your computer specifications, blender version used and maybe also a blend file.
