Description

Dear Sir/Mada,

I wish to report a bug in my version of Blender.

MB Pro
Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Mac OX Lion 10.7.5

Blender 2.76b

When I press shift and the MMB to pan, I have no response. I have search online for an answer and cannot find.

Just press the MMB and shift to try and pan/orbit.

Kind regards,

Stuart

This was fixed recently and should work in the new 2.77 release candidate. Closing report, we can reopen if it doesn't work. Thanks for reporting nevertheless :)

Hi Julian,

Thanks for the swift response. I have downloaded version 2.77, but I still have the same problem of being unable to pan or orbit.

Kind regards,

Stuart

Could you try if resetting factory settings helps (FileLoad Factory Settings)? Would also be good to know if you use trackpad, magicmouse, etc.

Julian Eisel (Severin) lowered the priority of this task from 90 to 30.

The issues I fixed with mouse scrolling and gestures should have no influence on MMB panning as far as I know.

Definitely check factory settings and the various mouse settings under User Preferences > Input.

It would also help to check if MMB panning fails everywhere, or e.g. only in the 3D view and not in the image or properties editors.

Hi Julian/Brecht

I reloaded factory settings. It did nothing to start, then after a few minutes it just started to pan and orbit again!

For reference, I am using a 3 button mouse, and I was not able to pan in any view.

Thanks for you advice.

Best wishes,

Stuart

Okay, glad it's working again :) Closing report.
