Can't redo, likely this is one of the many reports for intel GPU's crashing on selection.

We required you attach sysinfo! Please do not paste walls of text like that directly in reports/comments, such reports must be attached as text files instead.

Also, using intel driver on old distro is not really supported with current blender - and not sure lowlatency kernels cannot have drawbacks re drivers stability, too…

Try to start in software OpenGL mode (use the blender-softwaregl distributed with official blender, will be slow, but will show whether this is a driver issue or not).
