Please follow bug report guidelines and attach .blend file which demonstrates the issue, together with exact system specification and Blender version you use.

I can't reproduce the issue with current git version and same looking curve.

As far as I can tell this is working as intended - as well as cleaning the handle types are reset.

Though this isn't stated in the tooltip.

It's uncomfortable to use. If i'll adjust a keys and then want to automatically clean up curves than all reset.

Am not sure what you expect here… Clean is not a magical tool, it just tries to remove some keyframes while preserving (to some extent) original curve's “shape”. @Joshua Leung (aligorith) is likely the people to talk to about it?

Anyway, please follow our submission template and guidelines and make a complete, valid bug report, with required info, precise description of the issue, precise steps to reproduce it, small and simple .blend and/or other files to do so if needed, etc. Will close this one for now.
