When user presses ctrl-tab, it will cycle through selection modes in following way: vert->vert\edge->edge->edge\face->face->vert.

To enable it, use toggle "Cycle Selection Mode" in View & Controls in User Preferences.

Possible TODO:
-countercycling with ctrl-shift-tab?
-should the users be able to define the cycling order?
