Blender Crash, when OpenGL Rendering a GreasePencil stroke from the VSE, with no Strip underneath.
error: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

Can you provide an example file and the exact steps to reproduce the error?

1.Open new file

  1. switch to video editing
  2. draw gpencil stroke on vse viewer
  3. hit the vse open GL render button

Ok, I can reproduce the error in 2.78a and 2.77.

The problem is related to NULL value in a variable if not strip present.
