Description

Mac Mini late 2012
Processor 2.3GHz Intel Core i7

Blender Version
2.78a

Short description of error
Non responsive middle mouse button for rotation view.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I don't really know how to tell you how to reproduce the problem because it appears that no one else has it. What has happened is the middle mouse button no longer rotates, pans, or zooms (when holding shift or ctrl of course). I've done extensive research online and testing of my equipment to make sure it wasn't something simple. And it appears to be a software glitch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted system multiple times, tested my mouse to make sure it's working properly, and triple checked all the 3D view setting to make sure it's all as it should be ( back to factory settings ). I'm at a loss of what to do, I can't move around my model anymore without the numbed which slows projects to a crawl.

Thanks

OSX has known issues with 'continuous grab' mode of pointer, we have to fix it regularly for new versions of the OS, which may break older OSX, etc.

You can either try to disable continuous grab in UserPReferences, Input panel, or try to upgrade your OSX if not the latest version yet. And try the latest build from our buildbot.

Besides that, afraid we can’t do much without a proper way to reproduce the problem.
