Event Timeline

hi, need some more information, where did the model come from?
after downloading some random models after a too long search for .psk models, the two I tested worked ok.
The armature was good & model was posing well.
I did see the textures were not imported correct & this needed some setting up in blender to manually add back the textures.
Not sure if this is a bug without information on your file & where you got.
It's not possible to support all versions of these files created by the various other software that handles them could be the issue here.
edit, missed the part about "Modern" keep in mind this is an old script designed several years ago.

It's from Mighty No. 9
The material problem also happens with any other UE game

Brendon Murphy (meta-androcto) renamed this task from Problem with modern UE3 games to PSK import Problem with modern UE3 games.Jan 18 2017, 5:24 AM
Joey Ferwerda (TheOnlyJoey) lowered the priority of this task from 90 to 30.Jan 19 2017, 4:39 PM

Can you please provide us with a (legally obtainable) model which has this behaviour?
We can not test this if we don't have the same files.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my configuration, but I already restored the setting, un-installed the program and deleted the AppData. I don't know how to fix it.

Brendon Murphy (meta-androcto) changed the task status from Unknown Status to Unknown Status.Jan 25 2017, 11:47 PM

hi, indeed the error in armature location is in the first file in list, but older files seem not to have this issue.
I was able to easily manually fix the file by enter edit mode & rotate the armature z -180 then re-position the armature to match the geometry.
I think this is more a limitation than a bug, as there's no guarantee all game files will work out of the box.
Archiving.
