Short description of error
When I click on the "make single user" button to the right of the object name in the object properties blender crashes with a segmentation violation.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

click on the [3] next to the Cube.001 name in the object properties panel.

Using the 'u' key to make the object single user does NOT trigger a SEGV.

I can’t confirm this with latest master, please always try the latest build from our buildbot.

Indeed this seems fixed in master. I'll close it for now. If the problem persist with a more recent Blender in your computer let us know and we re-open it. Thanks for the report.
