Short description of error
Choose Supported or Experimental and OpenCL, click render. Get Blender has stopped working when "Compiling OpenCL program split_direct_lighting"

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open blender example file bmw27_gpu.blend. Choose Feature Set: Supported, Device: GPU Compute. Click Render. Compiles fine until Compiling OpenCL program split_direct_lighting"

I'm not sure but I think Blender only supports 7xxx cards and above for Opencl GPU compute.

Correct, we only support HD 7000 cards and above with GCN architecture.
