OSL script doesn't work at all. Even with attached simple shader.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Just try to open this file.

The file is in material shading mode, which does not support OSL. Only rendered mode and final F12 render works with OSL. This could be causing some confusion here.

Both rendered viewport and F12 render shows proper shading.

If shading is wrong in rendered modes, please test with official builds from blender.org and also test latest builds from builder.blender.org.
