Blender not working correctly once streaming program xSplit or OBS opened. Multiple restart of both (often not working together!) required to fix it temporarly.

Description

System Information
Operating system and graphics card:
Windows 10, 64 Bit
Nvidia Geforce GT 610

Blender Version
Broken: latest, 2.79 (occured in 2.78 as well, before unknown)
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
Using software to put streams on a website.
While in Edit mode it happens that single verticies are not selectable anymore, changing the visibility on the objects lists does not work either.
(Maybe more bugs with this? Needs to be observed first.)

Often 'starts' to occur while stream is running and I change settings in the properties tab while in Edit Mode (not sure if happens with other modes as well).

Using OBS software and xSplit, both make the error come up.
Gets fixed again if both, Blender and streaming program get closed, Blender opened first and then the streaming program.
Still sometimes it stays unchangeable after the restart of both. Closing streaming program and only re-opening Blender then and everything is back to normal. Single restart of Blender alone while stream is running does not fix it. Must be a compatibility problem.
If more info needed, I will add it right away.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Use any .blend, Blender 2.79 and download xSplit and OBS and stream to picarto.tv.
Switch through properties panel while in Edit Mode with verticies select view.
Change something on textures maybe? Vert groups? Anything else?
Try select single verticies with B, C or right click.
If nothing works except A(to select all), that's my error!

Thanks for the report, but this sounds like an issue for OBS or xSplit to solve, better report it to them because it's unlikely we can fix this in Blender. There may also be options in them that you could try tweaking to see if it makes things works with Blender.

From a quick search it seems these programs have issues with various software using OpenGL, also dependent on the specific graphics card. This kind of screen recording is likely requiring various hacks that are not officially supported by the operating system or graphics drivers, and they may not work well with Blender for some reason, but that's something we can't realistically investigate on our side.
