Blender Version
Broken: every from 2.75 (NEW-DEPSGRAPH)
Worked: None

Short description of error
I was trying to isolate a mask animation bug (actually, two of them) and I arrive to another bug: crash.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Run Blender with new-depsgraph
  • Open file:

109-mask-animation-b.blend1 MBDownload

  • Click on Image Editor (bottom left).
  • Crash (at least, in my computer).

I have a crash with official 2.79 but no crash with master 1d33843

Please, try a recent build to confirm that problem was solved.

Same here, I don't remember however if we simply close theses bugs, or keep them marked as to be re-checked before 2.79a final release. @Bastien Montagne (mont29) ?

No, we'd have no time to check on such reports when making next release… If fixed in current master, we just close as fixed!

I tested with blender-2.79-1d33843ea6b-linux-glibc219-x86_64 and there was no crash.
