Hi,

this looks more like a support question than a bug.

  • Shift+C is like "View all" (plus it centers the cursor, it doesnt put the selected object in the center of your view)
  • Shift+S Cursor to Center doesnt center the view to the selected object either, not sure why this would help with zooming (unless I am misunderstanding)
  • You know about "View Selected"?
  • You know about "Zoom to Mouse Position" option, see the manual

Closing as archived unless we get exact info on how to reproduce something that can be called a bug.
