Here's an overview of the design changes we want to do for the mesh display in Edit Mode.
- The mesh element corresponding to the Edit Mode submode should be more prominent (Vertices are prominent in Vertex Select Mode, Edges are prominent in Edge Select Mode etc )
- The active element should be more prominent than selected elements, not less. We also should not display as a stippled overlay
- For Face Select mode, we should hide the face dots, unless you are using Limit Selection to Visible (where they are actually used). We can also add an Edit Mode overlay option for it
- For the Vert/Edge/Face combined mode, we should display all elements equally, like so:
