I have the python script loaded but the option is not visible in the UV's drop-down in UV Editing.

Created assets trying to export the UV not able to look for an alternative could not find

As many others, that addon has not yet been fully ported/verified in 2.8, so it's still hidden there… Not a bug, just known WIP.
