My System is

Manjaro KDE Edition (17.1.12)

Ryzen 1600 @stock
GTX 1060 6GB @stock
16GB Corsair Vangeance Ram @stock 3000MHz

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.8 Hash - 008ed839f49 (2018-09-12)
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error

Cycles Render Engine Is completely missing. No Cuda Options In settings menu.
Under the "Render" Tab i can just choose OpenGl and Eevee.

  • Try running Blender from the terminal, are there any errors shown?
  • For CUDA support you may need to install a CUDA package for your Linux distribution, though if Cycles is missing entirely that's not likely the problem.
  • Are you using the build from builder.blender.org/download or another one?

Its just with the reales of today if i start the release from yesterday then i can use cuda and cycles. but they are completly missing in todays release atleast for me.

and sorry im new and not expierenced with linux im not able to start blender from the terminal, because this just starts the installed version 2.79b.

Edit. sorry if im annoying or something i really want to help but my english and linux expierience is just not that good.

so i dragged the blender (start file) from today release into the terminal and it started without errors and still no cycles in this release.

This appears to have been a temporary issue that was solved in rB8f1027a58b50: Fix Cycles issue moving versioning to blenloader, the next build will work again.
