This option will not be part 2.80, and when we enable it this will just automatically speed up rendering without any option to configure in the UI or need for documentation.
So GPU and CPU rendering wont work anymore.. that sounds great.
So now our render farms have to be CPU or GPU not both (Which ours currently uses both)
CPU+GPU render doesn't work well enough to enable on all the machines.. Some machines dont have CPUs good enough to help render (8 Thread i7, multiple GTX 1080tis)
No, that's not the case, when we switch to Embree we would ensure our GPU rendering matches it.
Looking at this thread...small question
Is Embree in blender 2.8 enabled or not? Will be in final release?? Its practically impossible to render out hair with mblur on without Embree...
