Short description of error
When I set some objet as a parent to some other object, this hierarchy is not shown in the outliner (as in 2.79).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

create an Empty/Plain axis
create a Cube
select the Cube and then shift + select the Empty (so it is active) and Set a Parent
observe that the parent/child link works, but is not shown properly in the Outliner

This is currently a known limitation, planned to be solved. If you disable display of collections or go to the Scene view they will show again.

We need some smart solution still to handle the case where children are in different collections than the parent object.
