Graphics card: Intel UHD Graphics 620; Wayland (not X11)

Blender Version
Broken: 2.80-26d5a3625ed
Worked: (optional) Not sure. Where can I find builds for 1,2,3 months ago to test?

Short description of error

Every now and then, the whole machine freezes for 1-3 seconds. Even the mouse cannot move. This is with basically nothing to render. It happens with the default cube. It freezes if I try to open a menu (e.g., Add menu).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
It should be very easy to reproduce. I can record of video of my session if that would be helpful. Let me know.

I don't have any freezes with X11. As far I know, Wayland is not officially supported.
Do the freezes happen only when you open a menu? Or also when panning the camera, or simply doing nothing?
It would be great to know if this is a new problem since 2.79.

You can go to the release notes of a particular version (eg. https://www.blender.org/download/releases/2-76/ ) and then click "Old Version", to the right of "Get Latest Blender".

It seems to happen whenever I interact with Blender. If I leave it open but just browse the web and ignore Blender then nothing bad happens.

It would be great to know if this is a new problem since 2.79.

Version 2.79 hash 5bd8ac9abfa works fine.

What about earlier builds of 2.80-to-be? Are those available somewhere?

The freezes happen on X11 too.
