Short description of error
In Sculpt Mode, the Grab Brush can ignore areas that have been masked and grab through the mesh, and affect the side opposite.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Create an object with a decent amount of subdivisions.
  2. Go into Sculpt Mode.
  3. Use a Mask Brush to mask an area on the object.
  4. Use the Grab Brush on the masked area, it will still grab vertices on the opposite side of the mesh.

I can't reproduce it. But maybe I just don't understand what you are describing exactly. Please prepare a .blend file and make a screenshot/gif of the bug.

After I downloaded a newer Blender 2.80 beta, the problem disappeared.

Sorry for the trouble Jacques.

Thank you so much!
