Short description of error
even if I change the values in the curve modifier, the animation does not change

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
add cylinder
add single keyframe in z rotation
in graph editor select Z euler Rotation
add generator modifier
whatever value I insert in the coefficient for polynomial the animation does not change
the curve Z has an incorrect origin
the same procedure in blender 279 does not generate errors

I can reproduce this. The Z rotation speed of the cylinder stays the same when changing the generator settings.

@Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) the search function here is quite bad as I can only search for usernames and not names. So I can't find Joshua Leung.

Can confirm this is not updating immediately. Muting/Unmuting the (generator) modifier will make it work again...

the curve Z has an incorrect origin

Cannot confirm. curve is going through [0,0] here (which is expected behavior for a generator?)

Will have a quick look at code to see if I can find something regarding first issue...

This seems to be fixed now (cannot reproduce anymore), closing.
