Deleting keyframes just after duplicating causes a problem.
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

Operating system: Windows 10 Home 1809
Graphics card: Intel UHD 630

Broken: 2.80, 552b2287db86, 2019-02-01

we have two bones, one is extruded from the previous one. add some keyframes to child bone, duplicate the keyframes, add some keyframes to parent bone, clear these newbie keyframes, even it has no keyframes, it shows animation.(the parent bone)

duplicate keyframes, add some keyframes for the parent bone, apply "clear keyframes" for the parent bone, play the animation and see parent bone moves even it doesnt have any keyframes. (save the blend file and reopen it, problem is vanished.)

I can't reproduce this on my end. Perhaps this has already been fixed.

If you still can reproduce this with tomorrows build, could you do a more detailed guide on how to reproduce this?

For example:

  1. Open supplied .blend file
  2. Select the available keyframes and duplicate them (shift + d)
  3. Select the parent bone
  4. ...

1- Open supplied .blend file
2- Select the available keyframes and duplicate them (shift + d)
3- Move the duplicated keyframes to 20.frame (so that you have keyframes at 1, 10, 20, 29
4- select the parent bone
5- go to 10. frame
6- press I and select LocRot
7- go to 20. frame
8- move to parent bone to right 1 unit (on X axis)
9- press I and select LocRot
10- press N to open the prop menü (you'll see the transform properties yellow)
11- go to Location: area and right click and select "clear keyframes"
12- go to Rotation: area and right click and select "clear keyframes"
13- at this point you have no keyframes for parent bone
14- play the animation, you'll see the parent bone is MOVING.
15- save the blend file and reopen it
16- play the animation and you'll see the parent bone doesn't move as expected.
