Blender Version
Broken: 2.80 Beta 690478027bd7

Short description of error
Editing a mesh object that is used for a bone to display while the bone is using it will result in Blender 2.80 crashing.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Create armature
  • Add a few bones
  • Create a mesh object
  • Set the mesh object as the custom item for the bone to display
  • Edit the mesh
  • Blender 2.80 should crash

Note: I was using a partially set up basic IK constraint system.

Please always use the latest blender beta when reporting bugs. The has you gave me is from Jan 27.

I can not reproduce this on my end. So I will assume this is something that has already been fixed in newer versions.

If this is not the case, let me know here and we can reopen this.
