Short description of error

Hello guys, how are you? Since Blender 2.8 Beta 2019-02-25, I install in my iMac, and after finish installation, the software doesn't open and appears a pop up message error. Follow the image of error. This was not the case with versions before 25 february. Before that date, always open normally... What can I do to open Blender now? Thanks a lot guys!

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

How! Sorry about that! I didn't received any response about my issue too. Until today. Let's wait....

The latest builds work fine for me. Does it happen with both the 2.79 stable build and 2.80 beta?

This error seems to indicate the Blender app is somehow corrupted.

Ok, thanks! But why happened this? Until 24 february was fine. But with the 25 february versions and above until today - 28 february, it's corrupted. How I must proceed to fix this? What happened? Do I must format my iMac? To work again? LOL... Thanks!

We don't know what happened, I'm trying to figure that out. This is why I would like to know:

Ho, sorry! I don't use 2.79, only 2.8 Beta. I'm new student and user Blender. And I wanna migrate from C4D and Modo to Blender definitively. Thanks a lot!

Hello guys. I'd installed today 07 march/2019 the updated Blender 2.8 and continues with the same error. Don't open anymore.
Do you discover what's the bug?

Thanks!

Jacques Lucke, GOOD MORNING, WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED, BEYOND WHICH I ALREADY PROVIDED WHEN I OPENED THIS TASK? Thanks!

@Julio Ferrari (jfcalcena) he is not requesting information, he just changed the status to indicate that we still need a developer to reproduce this issue.

Sorry! I got it wrong. Thanks again guys!

So far we've had no similar reports, so we need to figure out what is specific about your setup that causes this.

  • Could you try downloading the 2.79 daily build and running it, to see if it has the same issue? This will help us narrow down the cause of the problem.
  • Under System Settings > Security, do you have the setting enabled to allow running apps from anywhere?
  • Are there any other security related settings you might have changed? Maybe you're using a virus scanner?
  • Can you try downloading the Blender build with another browser, or unzip it with a different software?

Hello Brecht Van Lommel, first thanks for your help!

  • I'd downloaded 2.79 (today - 11 march/2019) and works fine.
  • In version 2.79 my OSX Mojave does not ask for authorization, but in 2.8 it asks, and even authorizing, it does not open the program. I'd downloaded the 2.8 Beta today (11 march/2019) and the issue remains.
  • My Firewall and FileVault are Unabled. (it's off). I haven't virus scanner in my iMac.
  • I'd downloaded with another browser - now with Google Chrome and I used Better Zip to unzip the file, before I was using Firefox browser, and guess what?... IT WORKS MAN Now my Blender 2.8 is reborn here at my job again! The birth of this baby was very time consuming! hahahaha Love you guys! Thanks again Regards

Finally, what have the Firefox browser that's causing this issue? I will exorcise my Firefox! hahahaha!!

I'll consider this resolved then, I can't think of anything we can do on our side to fix this.
