Short description of error

can not select items in the tracks with left click select enabled. If you stack items in the VSE, you can not select those items with left click enabled.

Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

If you stack items on tracks in the VSE and have "left click" selected in options, you can not select the items in the VSE.

@Herb Brown (MusicAMG) I cannot reproduce the issue. Selecting clips in the VSE works normally.

Try doing File > Load Factory Defaults to clear any custom keymap or other change you may have done.
