Short description of error
when duplicating a collection with a linked collection inside -> the linked collection creates its own data and won´t be linked

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
The collection "Link" was linked via draging the collection with CTRL pressed onto the default collection "Collection"

The tool tip states that it will recursively duplicate or duplicate linked depending on what you choose.

So this is not a bug, it is how it is intended to work.

Actually it doesn't work as expect if you duplicate linked (not just duplicate as in the pictures).

I would expect the linked collect to still be the same as before, not a new one.

No, this is working as expected currently (duplicating collections and objects recursively, 'linked' is for obdata, which are not duplicated in that case). There are at least two or three more behaviors ('weaker' duplications) that we could add here, but things are behaving as expected according to design currently. Design (re)discussion should definitively happen imho, but that will happen outside of bug tracker context.
