Broken: blender 2.8

Short description of error
While in edit mode on a curves, hiding vertices doesnt hide it in the view port until i leave edit mode then go back to edit mode.
And its the same when trying to unhide it.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
-add a curve
-go to edit mode
-hide it
-switch to object mode
-switch to edit mode{F6848022}
