Could you try a newer OSX version with more recent nvidia drivers? http://www.macvidcards.com/drivers.html

My hardware is updated to the max (including nvidia drivers), so this is pretty much where we can go with MacOS 10.11.6. If Blender 2.8 is to be compatible with MacOS 10.11, these are the issues we'll be bumping into.
This was also an issue with 10.11.6 and Nvidia -> T62766: Eevee DOF cut plane.

As it is now, it seems like we might only be able to provide support the most recent version of OSX. So unless you can update and test with Mojave, there is not much we can do on our side ATM.

Hello! The freshest Win64 build crashes when I switch "Screen Space Reflections" ON. It happens when the viewport EEVEE is active.
The system: AMD Ryzen 7 1800x. Win7 Pro, Graph. card - Geforce GTS 450, 16Gb memory.

It happens with the default scene as well.
