Graphics card: nvidea gtx 1060 6g

Blender Version
Broken: (example: 2.80, edc1b0167518, master, 2019-04-16, as found on the splash screen)
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
If I comb, cut, puff, or do whatever on particle Edit mode, cursor select everything on it. Even if 'show whole scene transparent' not turned on, cursor effects everything including not visible hair

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
select the model, go to particle edit mode, and do whatever feature. it effects every hair even its not visible

I can not reproduce, it seems like the mesh is blocking the hair tools as expected:

You mean that the strokes go through the mesh for you?

Yeah for some reason the strokes go through the mesh. I can't get the reason.

I just installed the latest nvidia driver, but still not working as the vid

I can confirm this now. I was on an older build before by mistake.

@Germano Cavalcante (mano-wii) I've bisected and it seems like your commit rB681661dbed121c7b81e9129c57df5eadb03c1009 broke this.
