In this version, it crashes intermittently using the steps described below. However, unable to replicate the issue consistently, but was able to crash it four times within 15 minutes using the steps described below.
Worked: bfef3bce1a93 (2019-05-07)
Reinstalled this version. Haven't been able to get it to crash using the steps below. This build has been, so far, the most stable on my computer.
Short description of error
Intermittent crash when navigating from Blender and back.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
- Open Blender
- Navigate to another application
- Return to Blender by clicking anywhere in any of the editors (replicated the issue in the Modeling and Shading Workspaces).
- Application intermittently crashes -- but, I can usually get it to crash within a few minutes.
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
